I like how the trinitarian (not James White but the other) repeatedly misquoting Col 2:9 to make a point, "he claims that the fullness of God is in Jesus", when its really the fullness of the 'quality that makes a god a god' that resides in Jesus and only by the fathers good pleasure; how this proves the trinity is beyond me, and also his bare assertion of lots of verses showing the eternal pre-existence of the son throughout the OT, the only supposed I know of is Micah 5:2
If I remember correctly, "Dr" Michael Brown was appealing to Genesis 18 as a Trinity proof text. How absurd is that? It has been readily acknowledged by many, including Trinitarians, that the Trinity is not taught in the Hebrew Scriptures and at best, only implicitly in the New Testament.
So many assumptions, it didn't even make for a good debate.
What I dont understand is how misquoting scriptures proves anything, If I was Buzzard or the Messianic Jewish guy I wouldve raked him over the coals for it. White kept talikg about the "god-man", where's that in the Bible? He defends it from "kenosis" but he never tries to provide evidence for that absurd doctrine (of which there is none)
