Over at http://bible-translation.net/, the Bible discussion group will be studying D. C. Parker's An Introduction to the New Testament Manuscripts and Their Texts. A problem that one may encounter, however, is that this is book number 7. So it may be at first difficult to know what certain terms mean and get down the basics.
